Cervical screening saves lives

Cervical screening saves lives
08 April 2019

A new campaign has launched to raise awareness of the risks of cervical cancer and highlight the benefits of screening - reminding women that cervical screening can stop cancer before it starts by preventing potentially harmful cells developing.

The Public Health England campaign, which launched on 5 March and runs until the end of April, encourages all people with a cervix to respond to their cervical screening invitation letters, and if they missed previous invites, to book an appointment at their GP practice.

Could this be you?

You can pick up information from GP practices, sexual health clinics and participating pharmacies, as well as engage in conversations in social media.
