Primary Care Commissioning Committee

Kingston CCG took on responsibility for commissioning primary medical services for the people of Kingston in April 2016.  The Primary Care Commissioning Committee will be responsible for decision-making surrounding primary care in the future, under delegated authority from NHS England.  

The Committee will act as a sub-committee of the Governing Body.

Membership of the Primary Care Commissioning Committee includes representation from the following organisations:

  • NHS Kingston CCG
  • NHS England
  • Royal Borough of Kingston
  • Surrey and Sussex Local Medical Committee
  • Kingston Healthwatch
  • Kingston and Richmond Local Pharmaceutical Committee

Public meetings

The Primary Care Commissioning Committee meets in public and is chaired by our lay member for patient and public involvement.  All members of the press and public are welcome to observe the meeting. Questions can be posed to the Primary Care Commissioning Committee; ideally these must be submitted the day before the meeting is held. This can be done by emailing: kingstonccg.communications@swlondon.nhs.uk.   The Chair will invite questions at the end of the meeting.
