Background

Kingston CCG launched as an independent statutory organisation on 1 April 2013 to improve health services in Kingston in keeping with the Kingston CCG mission and values.

The group has established its own constitution and a representative governing body.

In April 2016, the CCG took on delegated responsibility for the commissioning, procurement and management of GP services in Kingston.  This is a key part of delivering the NHS Five Year Forward View and will support the development of integrated out-of-hospital services based around the needs of local people.

Priority programmes over the coming year will be Primary Care Commissioning, the development of a Sustainable Transformation Plan and the Kingston Coordinated Care (KCC) work stream.
