70 Years of the NHS NHS Kingston

What we're doing

KCC meeting 2

Our priorities

We've developed an Integrated Operating Plan in partnership with the Royal Borough of Kingston for 2014-16 to enable joint working on service commissioning for the benefit of local people.

The plan brings together priorities identified by the CCG, Adult Social Care and Public Health for the next year.  You can view our Integrated Operating Plan here.

In summary, our current priority areas are:

  • Quality and Patient Safety

  • Patient and Citizen Voices

  • Children and Young People

  • Integrated Health and Care Services for Adults

  • Mental Health

  • Primary Care

  • Urgent and Emergency Care

  • Cancer and End of Life Care

  • Socially Excluded and Disadvantaged Groups

  • Health Promotion and Disease Prevention

  • Integrated Commissioning of Health and Adult Social Care

Take a closer look at some of our key programmes and developments in the left hand column.

We review our commissioning intentions every year, based on changes in the healthcare landscape and local need, and these feed into our Integrated Operating Plan.  You can view our commissioning intentions for 2015/16 here.

If you'd like to read more about what we've achieved over the past year, take a look at our current annual report.
