Have your say

How can I get involved?

Your feedback helps us to ensure we are commissioning the right services for local residents of Kingston.

You can do this through:

  • Patient Participation Groups (PPGs): speak to your GP Practice Manager to find out more about your local group.
  • Public events: Kingston CCG attends local community events, public meetings and forums to hear feedback and patient experiences.
  • Kingston CCG meetings: Our Governing Body and Primary Care Commissioning Committee meet in public and everyone is welcome!
  • Online: Share your views on Twitter @kingstonccg
  • Voluntary and community organisations: Get involved with health support groups and find out more about local service.

Seeking your views

We want you to get involved and influence your local health services. As a CCG, putting the public, patients and carers at the centre of our plans and getting their input is important. For more information, read our Communications & Engagement Strategy.

Patient and public voice in governance

Patient and public representatives take part in our decision making to enable a range of views to be included. This includes the appointment of lay members to the Governing Body and sub-committees.

Healthwatch Kingston is also a member of our Governing Body, Primary Care Commissioning Committee and other committees.

A place is available for a Patient Participation Group representative to be a member of the Primary Care Commissioning Committee.

Using your feedback

We use your feedback to change how we do things. For examples of what we have done, view our latest patient and public engagement review which provides an overview of our patient and public engagement (PPE) activities for 2017/18.

When major plans are being considered in the way services are being delivered we want to hear what you have to say so that your views are integral in helping us make those decisions.

We will put information here about consultations and engagement we are carrying out.
