70 Years of the NHS NHS Kingston

Patient groups

If you’re interested in having a say in the way your local health services are delivered, you could get involved with your GP Practice’s Patient Participation Group (PPG).

A PPG is a group of patients, carers and GP practice staff who meet to discuss practice issues and patient experience to help improve the service. Some practices also have ‘virtual groups’ who regularly communicate by email.  To find out how you can get involved, contact the practice manager at your GP surgery.

Download a best practice guide for support to set up and run a PPG.

Primary Care Forum
