Public consultation on changes to services at Gosbury Hill GP led health centre

Last autumn, Kingston CCG and NHS England carried out a public consultation on the future of services offered from Gosbury Hill GP Clinic. Feedback from the consultation showed that local people supported the relocation of the service providing urgent GP appointments to Surbiton Health Centre, and also supported the closure of the small practice list.

The registered list size at Gosbury Hill GP Clinic is approximately 2,000 patients, which is not considered large enough by Kingston CCG or NHS England to be independently financially viable as a practice.

Consequently, Kingston CCG, NHS England and Integral Medical Holdings (IMH), the provider of services from Gosbury Hill GP Clinic, mutually agreed that all services would cease to patients from Gosbury Hill GP Clinic at 30th September 2016.

If you are currently registered as a patient at Gosbury Hill GP Clinic, you will need to register with a new GP Practice before 30th September 2016. There are several GP practices close to Gosbury Hill GP Clinic which are currently accepting new patients; one of these GP practices, Orchard Practice, is located on the same site but based in a different building.

Important: Grays Medical Practice is operated by the same provider as Gosbury Hill GP Clinic. The provider has also requested to close Grays Medical Practice from 30th September 2016. Kingston CCG and NHS England are conducting a patient consultation on the future of services from Grays Medical Practice, and we would therefore not suggest registering with Grays Medical Practice as its long-term future is uncertain.
