Personal health budgets

The introduction of Personal Health Budgets is national policy from April 2014.  The aim of Personal Health Budgets is to enable people with complex medical conditions requiring a lot of care, support and/ or highly specialised nursing support to have greater choice, flexibility and control.  The first group of people who can request a Personal Health Budget are people who are eligible for NHS Continuing Health Care living in the community.

Kingston Clinical Commissioning Group and Royal Borough of Kingston Adult Social Care Service have together produced information about the policy and systems for Personal Health Budgets, details of which are shown below with links to the documents.
